Because there's a certain strand of nonsense that seems increasingly out of place over on the old Workblog.

Quote with 9 notes

When I recall this panel, I almost feel as if I’m experiencing something of a muscle-memory, of a shadow of a moment in which I physically turned around to talk to a friend after having climbing a flight of stairs. As such, much of the life of the panel is created by the way in which the reader is co-opted to function as a third character on the page.
— Too Busy Thinking About Comics writes about a single panel in Phonogram: The Singles Club, which is all kind of cute. Go read the rest. I especially like how it picks up on the inclusiveness, which we realllly pushed hard with that issue.
